Library

The Loyola Library supports and supplements the school's academic programmes through a variety of print and electronic resources in both English and French. The library collection consists of books, newspapers and magazines, electronic databases and access to the internet from every computer station.

Loyola has one full time and two part-time librarians who are available to serve the needs of students working on class assignments, research projects and, of course, choosing a good book for leisure reading! The librarians work in close collaboration with teachers to instruct students in the critical skills of locating, accessing, evaluating and thinking critically about information. They also seek to create an environment which promotes a sense of creativity, curiosity, and an interest in life long learning.
